Parallel Lines: The same distance apart at any given point
Angle: The space within two lines or three or more planes diverging from a common point, or within two planes diverging from a common line.
Plane: A surface generated by a straight line moving at a constant velocity with respect to a fixed point.
Complementary Angles: Either of two angles whose sum is 90°.
Supplementary Angles: Either of two angles whose sum is 180°.
Vertex: A point where two or more straight lines meet.
Triangle: A three-sided polygon.
Intersection: Point where two or more lines meet.
Rotation: A full rotation of 360°.
Line of Symmetry: A line that divides a figure into two congruent parts.
Alternate Interior Angles: Two congruent interior angles that lie on different parallel lines and on opposite sides of a transversal.
Alternate Exterior Angles: Two pairs of angles on opposite sides of the transversal and outside the parallel.
Hypotenuse: The longest side of a right triangle, opposite the right angle.
Obtuse:An angle between 90 and 180 degrees.
Acute: An angle less than 90 degrees but more than 0 degrees.
Right: An angle of 90°, as in a corner of a square.
Interior Angles: The angle between adjacent sides of a rectilinear figure.
Transversal: A line intersecting two or more lines.
Congruent Figures: Figures that have the same shape and size.
Exterior Angles: Angle between a side of a rectilinear figure and an adjacent side extended outward.
Linear Pair: Two supplementary adjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines.
