Auditorium: area of the theatre where the audience watches the play; also called the house
Proscenium Arch: A structure that is at the front of the stage that creates a picture frame around the stage
Center Stage:The exact middle of the stage; also the most powerful position on the stage
Downstage: The area of the stage closest to the audience
Scene Shop: An area backstage where scenery is stored and built
Grande Drape: A large heavy front curtain
