Ovaries: It is a pair of small glands about the size and shape of almonds, located on the left and right sides of the pelvic body cavity lateral to the superior portion of the uterus.
Labia majora: It encloses and protects the other external reproductive organs. It is literally translated as "large lips". It is relatively large and fleshy, and is comparable to the scrotum in males.
Cervix: It is the lower, narrow portion of the uterus where it joins with the top end of the vagina.
Vulva: It is the collective name for the external female genitalia located in the pubic region of the body. It also surrounds the external ends of the urethral opening and the vagina and includes the mons pubis, labia majora, labia minora, and clitoris.
Fallopian tubes: These are narrow tubes that are attached to the upper part of the uterus and serve as tunnels for the ova (egg cells) to travel from the ovaries to the uterus.
Scrotum: It is a sac-like organ made of skin and muscles that houses the testes. It is located inferior to the penis in the pubic region.
Prostate: It is a walnut-sized exocrine gland that borders the inferior end of the urinary bladder and surrounds the urethra.
Semen: It is the fluid produced by males for sexual reproduction and is ejaculated out of the body during sexual intercourse. It contains sperm, the male reproductive gametes, along with a number of chemicals suspended in a liquid medium.
Epididymis: It is a whitish mass of tightly coiled tubes cupped against the testicles that acts as a maturation and storage for sperm before they pass into the vas deferens. It carries sperm to the ampullary gland and prostatic ducts.
Uterus: It is a hollow, pear-shaped organ that is the home to a developing fetus.
Testes: These are the male gonads responsible for the production of sperm and testosterone.
Vagina: It is a canal that joins the cervix (the lower part of uterus) to the outside of the body. It also known as the birth canal.
Clitoris: It is a small, sensitive protrusion that is comparable to the penis in males. It is covered by a fold of skin which is similar to the foreskin at the end of the penis. Like the penis, it is very sensitive to stimulation and can become erect.
Circumcision: It is the surgical removal of the foreskin from the human penis.
Prepuce: It is another term for foreskin, the skin surrounding and protecting the head of the penis and for clitoral hood, skin surrounding and protecting the head of the clitoris.
Bartholin: _______'s glands are located beside the vaginal opening and produce a fluid (mucus) secretion.
Erect: A penis is ______ when the spongy tissues of the penis are engorged with blood.
Cowper: Bulbourethral glands, also called as _______ glands, are two small glands located on the sides of the urethra just below the prostate gland. These glands produce a clear, slippery fluid that empties directly the urethra.
Lactation: It is the production and release of milk to feed an infant.
Flaccid: When one's penis is soft and is hanging loosely or limply, then it is ______.
