Inequality: An open sentence which uses the symbol ≤, ≥, ˂, ˃ to compare quantities or represent a set of numbers.
Inequality Graph: A number line or section of the coordinate system which represents a solution set.
Intersection: The graph of an inequality connected by "and." The shared solutions are found where the two graphs meet.
Open Circle: A circle on the number line indicating where to begin the graph that means ˂ or ˃.
Open Sentence: A mathematical statement representing a set of numbers.
Set Builder Notation: {x| x˃2}
Solution Set: All numbers which are solutions to the inequality.
Union: The graph of an inequality using "or." Is true is one or more of the inequalities is true.
