Individual Sports: A sport in which participants compete as individuals.
Dual Sports: A game played with a partner.
Badminton: A game played with rackets and a shuttlecock, which is hit back and forth across a high net.
Racket: Usually consisting of a handle and an oval frame with a tightly interlaced network of strings.
Shuttlecock: A light cone consisting of a cork stub with feathered flights, struck to and fro in badminton.
Net: Stretches across the middle of the court, and over which players must hit the shuttlecock.
Table Tennis: A game played on a table with wooden paddles and a small hollow plastic ball.
Court: Area designated for playing a game of tennis.
Ace: It is when the opponent can't even touch the ball when it is served.
Fault: Serve that fails to land the ball in the correct area of play.
Lob: Stroke in which the ball is hit high above the net.
Volley: A shot hit by a player before it bounces on his own side of the court.
Bowling: refers to a series of sports or leisure activities in which a player rolls or throws a bowling ball down a lane.
