Gerber : A 4♣ bid asking partner to disclose how many aces.
Blackwood : A 4NT bid asking partner to disclose how many aces.
Splinter : A double jump bid in a side-suit indicates a trump fit and a singleton or void in the suit bid.
Stayman : Used to find a 4-4 or 5-3 trump fit.
Jacoby : Used to find a 5-3 fit in a major suit.
Michaels : Shows a two-suited hand with at least 5 cards in each suit and 8+ points.
DONT : Disturb an Opponent's one NoTrump opening bid (the clue is in the capital letters).
Landy : A 2♣ overcall of a 1NT opening showing 4+ cards in both spades and hearts
Raptor : A 1NT overcall showing a 4 card major and a 5+ minor.
Namyats : Developed by Victor Mitchell and named after his partner Samuel's surname, spelled backwards.
Flannery : A 2♦ opening bid showing 11-15 hcp with 4 spades and 5 (or sometimes six) hearts.
