Epidermis: The outer layer of cells that cover organisms.
Dermis: The thick layer of skin bellow the epidermis which hold hair follicles nerve endings etc
Melanin: A dark brown to black pigment in a persons hair, skin, and iris of the eye
Oil glands: Microscopic glands that secrete oil and waxy matter.
Sweat Glands: Glands found in the dermis part of the skin almost any were that release sweat.
Vitamin D: Nutrients produced in skin when exposed to sunlight
Temperature: Skin and sweat glands regulate this
Fatty Layer: The superficial part of your body that is specialized for fat storage
Skin: The largest organ of the whole body
Blood Vessels: Carries blood into the dermis
Ultraviolet rays: Invisible rays which come from the sun
protection: Most important function of the skin
Sensory: An impulse which tends to end in a nerve
