contracts : is an agreement having a lawful object entered into voluntarily by two or more parties, each of whom intends to create one or more legal obligations between them.
expressed contract : a contract in which all elements of a contract are specifically stated (offer, acceptance, consideration), and the terms are stated, as compared to an "implied" contract in which the existence of the contract is assumed by the circumstances.
implied contract : is an agreement created by actions of the parties involved, but it is not written or spoken.
unilateral contract : an agreement to pay in exchange for performance, if the potential performer chooses to act.
bond : is an instrument of indebtedness of the bond issuer to the holders.
lien : a right to keep possession of property belonging to another person until a debt owed by that person is discharged.
debtor : a person or institution that owes a sum of money.
bankruptcy : is a legal status of a person or other entity that cannot repay the debts it owes to creditors.
