Glade : Small area that serves as a living place for the Gladers.
Grievers : A creature that lives in the Maze and comes out after dark
Thomas : A former Glader and One of the creators of The Maze.
Alby : The leader of the Gladers.
Newt : Glader and Alby's second-in-command.
Chuck : A Glader who befriended Thomas in the Maze.
Minho: A former Glader and Keeper of the Runners.
Gally : A Glader who didn't trust Thomas from the beginning, turning into Thomas's first enemy in the Glade.

Griever Hole : An invisible entrance/exit through which the Gladers escape the Maze.
Crank Palace : home of many Cranks that were first shown in The Death Cure.
The Cliff : The only notable landmark is the Cliff. According to Minho, before Thomas arrived in the maze several Green Beans had fallen over the cliff. It looks around three miles high to Thomas.
The Homestead : a place located inside the Glade.
Safe Haven : a place where the Gladers are told they must head to at the beginning of The Scorch Trials.
The Walls : the boundaries of the Maze surrounding the Glade, which rise hundreds of feet high.
Map Room : a place in the Glade where the Maze Runners stored their maps they made of the Maze, believing there to be an answer in the patterns.
Denver : only cities where its residents are all Immunes or healthy people.
Wicked Complex : Where Thomas is kept for a month in isolation after being rescued from the Scorch.
