Measurement: the action of measuring something
Metric Prefixes:that precedes a basic unit of measure to indicate a decadic multiple or fraction of the unit. Each prefix has a unique symbol that is prepended to the unit symbol.
Ruler:a straight strip or cylinder of plastic, wood, metal, or other rigid material, typically marked at regular intervals, to draw straight lines or measure distances.
Calipers:an instrument for measuring external or internal dimensions, having two hinged legs resembling a pair of compasses and in-turned or out-turned points.
Micrometers:an instrument for measuring external or internal dimensions, having two hinged legs resembling a pair of compasses and in-turned or out-turned points.
Square:a plane figure with four equal straight sides and four right angles
Protractor:an instrument for measuring angles, typically in the form of a flat semicircle marked with degrees along the curved edge.
Weight Scales:is a measuring instrument for determining the weight or mass of an object.
Calibrated Containers:To check, adjust, or determine by comparison with a standard (the graduations of a quantitative measuring instrument)
Thermometers:an instrument for measuring and indicating temperature, typically one consisting of a narrow, hermetically sealed glass tube marked with graduations and having at one end a bulb containing mercury or alcohol that expands and contracts in the tube with heating and cooling.
Digital Thermocouples:a device for measuring temperature in which a pair of wires of dissimilar metals (as copper and iron) are joined and the free ends of the wires are connected to an instrument (as a voltmeter) that measures the difference in potential created at the junction of the two metals
Pressure Gage:an instrument indicating pressure.
