Expand: to write an expression in a form where factors of numbers and/or variables are written as sums (and differences)
Greatest Common Factors: the largest factor shared by two or more numbers.
Evaluate: use the appropriate order of operations to find the value of an expression.
Solve: find a value that makes an equation or inequality true
Factor: a number that can be multiplied by another number to arrive at a product
Distributive Property: a (b + c) = ab + ac
Equivalent: expressions that share the same value are said to be equivalent
Term: a terms is a part of an expression that can be added to or subtracted from the rest of the expression
Coefficient: The numerical factor of a term that contains a variable
Product: the result of multiplication
