Matter : It is commonly defined as the substance of which physical objects are composed. In other words any substance which has mass and occupies space.
Physical Properties : The measurement of mass and other characteristics that can be seen without changing how the object looks
Chemical Properties : Characteristic that cannot be observed without altering the substance
Pure Substance : It is a substance that has only one substance throughout and which cannot be separated by physical means.It can be separated by chemical process (example: iron)
Mixture : It is a substance made by combining two or more different materials with no chemical reaction occurring. The objects do not bond together (example: fruit salad, ocean water and soil)
Homogenous Mixtures : Particles are uniformly spread having the same composition and properties. Examples are gasoline and margarine
