Iliacus: It flexes the hip.
Iliopsoas: It laterally flexes the vertebral column.
Tensor fascia lata: Flexes and abducts the thigh.
Quadriceps Femoris: The four muscles join together at the quadriceps tendon.
Rectus Femoris: This muscle is attached to the hip and helps to extend or raise the knee.
Vastus medialis: It is the most medial, or inner, of the quadriceps muscles.
Vastus lateralis: This muscle arises from a series of flat, broad tendons attached to the femur, and attaches to the outer border of the patella.
Vastus intermedius: This muscle is located along the upper portion of the femur, which is also known as the thighbone.
Adductor Group: Draws the leg inward and laterally rotates the thigh.
Gracilis: Adducts the thigh.
Sartorius: Originates on the Ilium and inserts on the tibia.
Gluteus Maximus: Forms the buttocks.
Gluteus Medius: Covered by the Gluteus Maximus.
Hamstrings: Extends the thigh and flexes the knee.
Gastrocnemius: Forms the calf.
Soleus: Plantar flexes the foot.
Tibialis Anterior: Covers the anterior crest.
Peroneus Muscles: Muscle group of the lateral leg.
Extensor Digitorm Longus: It dorsiflexions the foot and extends the toes.
