Stress: is the reaction of the body to the mind to everyday challenges and demands.
Perception: is the act of becoming aware through the senses.
Psychosomatic response: a physical reaction that results from stress rather than from an injury or Illness.
Stressor: is anything that causes stress.
Chronic stress: stress associated with long-term problems that are beyond a person's control.
Stress management skills: skills that help an individual handle stress in a healthful, effective way.
Relaxation response: state of calm that can be reached of one or more relaxation techniques are practiced regularly.
Anxiety: is the condition of feeling uneasy or worried about what may happen.
Depression: a prolonged feeling of helplessness, and sadness.
Resiliency: is the ability to adapt effectively and recover from disappointment, difficulty or crisis.
