Place:The way in which you describe a location using human and physical features. Regions:Part of a whole, that can be separated based on common traits.
Title:tells what the subject of the map is.
Legend:explains what we can find on the map, usually shown in a box.
Compass Rose:Diagram that shows the directions on a map.
Longitude:imaginary lines that run from the North Pole to the South Pole.
Presidential Democracy:form of government where the power lies with the people to vote, but there is still a president and legislative to make decisions balance power.
Movement:transportation of goods, ideas, thoughts and people, can be in many different forms.
Location:finding a specific place using a compass, latitude, longitude and landmarks.
Human Environment Interactions:how humans affect the environment, how the environment affects humans, how people change the environment...depend on, adapt to, modify the environment.
Latitude:Imaginary lines that run east to west around the globe parallel to the equator.
Equator:line of latitude zero degrees from which lines of latitude are measured splits the world into Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
Prime Meridian:line of longitude zero degrees, from which all degrees of longitude are measured splits the world into eastern and western hemispheres.
